Hello all! I moved my photo blog to wordpress so please follow me there!

Yesterday my friend and I visited the San Francisco Zoo to mess around with our cameras. This is probably the first time I’ve gone to the zoo ever since I’ve taken up photography on a more serious level, and I’m happy with how some of my shots turned out although I don’t think I’m much of an animal-type of photographer that is unless I’m shooting homo-sapiens. Hardy har har. Lame joke.
Upon entering the zoo, my friend exclaimed, “Is that a real giraffe!?” He said that seriously. You should have seen the expression on my face. I was greatly amused. Anyhow, we got through the zoo in 2.5 hours, and we stayed 30 minutes passed closing too! Fun times … fun times.
Question of the day: If you got locked inside of the zoo, where would you hide out? My answer … find me at the giraffe’s barn. They seem rather harmless, but I am probably wrong. They’ll probably eat me alive!! Ack!
Now on with my photos …

And then there’s Ocean beach! We made a pit stop because the weather in San Francisco was oh-so-beautiful. The beach was packed with people, but it still wasn’t warm enough to lounge around in just a bathing suit. Boohoo. Sometimes I forget how beautiful San Francisco really is.

Last year we went on a week long Northwest Roadtrip, and made several stops along the way until we reached Seattle, Washington. And then we drove back to San Francisco, California along the beautiful Oregon coastline.
My photos are long overdue, but I thought … better late than never! This shot was taken at the Bridal Veil Falls, but the trek back up with all my camera gear and a tripod sucked; however, I wouldn’t have gotten this shot without it! More to come, of course.

I did Travis’ photoshoot the same day I did Tanya’s. Quit stylish for a guy, huh? My only regret is that I wish I took more pictures of him. It’s hard doing two individual photoshoots at the same time.
Here are the results.
