Welcome to my photography, dedicated blog. Yes, this is what I do besides designing full-time at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco (de Young and Legion of Honor).

Anyhow, I'll be updating with photos from my latest gigs (engagements, events, portraits, etc.), adventures, and shenanigans. Email me for rates at jennifershsu@gmail.com. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Jonas | San Francisco, CA.

Jonas asked me to do a shoot of him late one Friday evening, and I thought … why not! He wanted something “different” and “unique”, and if you know Jonas like I do, this isn’t an unusual request.

We walked around the Fisherman’s Wharf area to find spots to shoot at. There weren’t many tourists around since it was inching towards midnight, and I seriously thought we were going to get mugged somehow. I feared for my camera equipment!

Afterwards we drove around the Presidio for some spots. The Presidio at night is a creepy place. We attempted to find the cemetery, but failed to locate it. Instead we found a spot with dimly lit trees, and it was somewhat foggy too. I feared for some paranormal activity to occur so I refused to get out of the car to take pictures. How did I shoot him? I stayed in the car. Ha.
