Today I did a photoshoot for my cousin, Tanya. We ended up in the industrial areas around 3rd and Army, the unofficial skate park, after much driving. We wanted a spot that wasn’t populated by people, and, of course, something with nice texture! It was a bit sunny out so we had to deal. I dislike the harsh contrast the sun can create sometimes, but the good thing is that I’m definitely more aware of my lighting situations now after much practice. And I finally ordered reflectors; I can’t wait to use them next time!
Anyhow, Tanya makes a fab model, and she’s so stylish! I felt like I was photographing a girl from Chictopia. And she’s cute too.
